Mission Statement

The mission of Mt. Hope High School’s School Counseling Program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the Academic, Career and Personal/Social Development of all students. The counselors at Mt. Hope High School are professionals, who, in cooperative partnerships with administrators, teachers, parents, community members and agencies; provide a comprehensive program to assist students in maximizing their potential.  Our School Counseling team strives to help better prepare students for life after high school and support them in becoming College and Career Ready.  Our focus and goal is to provide all of our students with the tools and knowledge necessary to cope with life issues and be prepared with the skills required to accomplish their personal goals and become productive members of society.
